FAQ 
What are the steps to place an order online?
We offer easy and secure online ordering:
  1. To add an item to your shopping cart, simply click on “Add to Cart”.  To continue shopping, you can click on “Back to Shopping”.  To checkout click on “Continue”.
  2. If you do not have an online account at Safety-Kleen.com, you would need to “Create New Account”.  Your login would be your email address, so please be careful to enter correct email address.  All your order information, including receipt, will be sent to this email address.
  3. If you already have an online account, simply provide your email address as your login, and your password.
  4. Shipping Page: You can provide an alternate address for Shipping if your Shipping address is different from your Billing address.  If your Shipping address is same, click on “Continue”
  5. Payment page: You would be able to view your order details here including shipping charges and taxes.  You would also provide all the credit card details here, and verify your billing information.  Your credit card will not be charged when you click “Continue” on this page
  6. Place Order page: You can verify your order again here.  You can also enter “Special Instructions” here.  Click on “Place Order” to place your order.  You will then see a final order confirmation page, you will also get order receipt email.

What do I do if I can not remember my password?
If you do not remember your password, please email your request for password to online@safety-kleen.com.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept MasterCard, Visa, and Amex cards.

How do you calculate the total cost of my order?
The total cost of your order is equal to the price of your items, plus shipping cost, plus sales tax for orders. If you have a valid tax-exemption claim, you must:

  • Mention your tax exemption in “Comments” during checkout.
  • Fax us your exemption certificate right after ordering at 972-265-2945.  Please mark “E-Commerce Orders” on your form.

We would deduct the tax before charging your credit card after verifying your form.

When I enter my personal information and credit card number over the Internet, is your site secure?
We care about online order security. Shopping at www.safety-kleen.com is quick, easy and secure. Safety-Kleen works to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input. In an effort to protect your information, Safety-Kleen stores the information in a database that is not accessible from the Internet. Safety-Kleen utilizes VeriSign security services to process your personal information. If at any time you feel uncomfortable providing personal information online, please feel free to call one of our sales representatives at 1-800-669-5740, ext. 2490 (Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST).  We do not share any customer information with other companies.

When will my credit card be charged?
We only charge your credit card after your order is shipped.  At the time you place your order online, we only authorize your credit card.

Where can I receive answers to questions that I have about a particular product?
You can view all our product information on our website.  Some additional products might not be listed on the website.  Please Contact Us, or email online@Safety-Kleen.com for more information.

What is your parts washer return policy?
New and Refurbished Parts Washers and unused Products that you purchase from Safety-Kleen may be returned or exchanged within thirty (30) days of the delivery date for a refund. You must contact Safety-Kleen directly at 1-800-669-5740, ext. 2490 (Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST) prior to returning any products. All returns will be coordinated through the Safety-Kleen branch that delivered the products to Buyer or otherwise designated following notice of intent to return. What kind of warranty do you give?
Safety-Kleen makes no express warranties on the Products except as stated in documentation provided with certain Parts Washers.  The limited warranties provided with Parts Washers are valid only with the use of Safety-Kleen brand chemistries or other chemistries approved by Safety-Kleen in writing. Warranties will be voided if foreign chemistries, solvents, cleaners, paint thinners or additives which will cause deleterious corrosion effects to internal surfaces and hardware components, are added to the solvent or paint thinner. This would include the addition of any compounds that include nitrocellulose. Warranties may also be voided if you fail to install or operate the parts washers in accordance with the operating manual.

What is meant by “reconditioned” parts washer?
We believe in recycling and refurbishing our existing resources to conserve our environment.  This also reduces cost for you.  Some parts washers might be previously used and then reconditioned.  All our reconditioned parts washers go through a strict quality control and are certified.  Minimizers, Spray washers, Ultrasonic machines, etc. are new machines.

Do you sell parts/accessories for your parts washers? How do I order them?
We do not currently sell online parts/accessories for our parts washers.  To order these, please contact your local branch, or Contact Customer Service.

Are the prices listed on the website valid in Canada?
All the prices are in USD. Canadian prices might be different from those stated on the website.

 

SHIPPING QUESTIONS
How long will it take to receive my order?
Orders are usually shipped within 15 business days from receipt of order.  At the same time, Safety-Kleen makes no guarantee that ordered items will arrive by a certain time or date. 

How do you ship?
In most instances, Parts Washers will be delivered by a Safety-Kleen representative from the Safety-Kleen branch closest to Buyer's location. In other instances, Safety-Kleen will ship the Products to Buyer using various shipping methods depending on the items being shipped, quantity, time and destination.
Loss or damage that occurs during the shipping by a carrier selected by Safety-Kleen is Safety-Kleen's responsibility.

Do you ship outside the United States?
We do not ship outside continental USA currently.

How can I check the status of my order?
To check the status of our order you can either:

  • email at online@safety-kleen.com, or
  • Call 1-800-669-5740, ext. 2490 (Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST)

How are the shipping rates calculated?
The shipping rates are calculated as per weight of the item.  Shipping and handling rates are subject to change without notice.


What if I am not satisfied with my order?
We always strive to meet and exceed your expectations.  In any case, if you have a problem with our products please read the following.  It is your responsibility to inspect shipment at time of delivery and refuse delivery of the products if damaged. Your receipt of the products shall constitute acceptance of the products. You must notify Safety-Kleen within 30 days of the date of your invoice if you believe any part of your purchase is missing, incorrect or damaged.
